Partner

Carlyle is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a registered SMSF Auditor and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Carlyle has over 20 years of experience in business advisory financial and accounting advice and services. Carlyle specialises in Self Managed Superannuation Funds, SMSF audits, Capital Gains Tax, HBCF (Home Warranty Insurance for Builders) and small business advisory. Carlyle’s clients include businesses within construction, property development and manufacturing industries as well as registered training organisations.

Daniel is a Member of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia, holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, and has over 15 years of professional experience. Daniel specialises in Self Managed Superannuation Funds and Self Managed Superannuation Fund Strategies as well as small business value added services. In addition to this, Daniel is also an accredited SMSF Specialist Adviser with the SMSF Association. Daniels client base includes legal, medical and dental, IT and engineering industries.

Doug has more than 30 years of professional experience in providing accounting, business and financial advice. Doug is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce. Doug’s clients include many retail, professional and manufacturing businesses which benefit from his tax advice, business planning and management reporting. He also has a specialist interest in all forms of property investment and is the accounting adviser to some of the largest property development and construction groups in the local region.

Neil leads the audit and assurance division at KLM. Neil has more than 30 years experience providing audit and accounting services to large companies, not-for-profit organisations, companies limited by guarantee, incorporated associations and Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Neil’s areas of expertise include financial reporting, external audit, trust account examinations, business risk and internal control, business process improvement, due diligence and corporate governance. Neil is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a registered company auditor, an external examiner with the Law Society of New South Wales and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Tim Mackenzie is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand as well as being a registered tax agent. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and has more than 30 years of public practice experience. Over this period Tim has advised retail, professional, manufacturing, service companies, not-for-profits and individuals on pretty well all commercial transactions you can think of including advice on taxation, operating a business, finance, acquisitions and disposals and business structuring.

Josh is a Partner with KLM and manages the audit and assurance division. Joshua has more than 15 years of professional experience in providing external audit, tax and accounting services to a significantly diverse client base including independent private schools, child care and early education, registered clubs, trust accounts, not-for-profit organisations, NDIS accredited service providers, churches, special foundations, large private companies in various industries, sporting and cultural clubs. Josh is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a registered company auditor, an eternal examiner with the Law Society of New South Wales and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Josh represents on the boards of a number of local registered charities.

Chris is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Chris has over 15 years of experience small business advisory, Self Managed Superannuation Fund advisory, taxation and compliance. Chris’s clients include businesses within the professional, manufacturing and construction industries. Chris has a keen interest in property development and provides accounting and taxation advice to one of the region’s largest construction groups.

Jeremy is a member of Chartered Accountants and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Jeremy has more than 20 years experience in professional practice, offering taxation, accounting, business advisory and audit services for a diverse range of clients.

Director of Financial Planners

Janette Pavey is a director of KLM Financial Planners Pty Ltd and an Authorised Representative of Personal Financial Services. Janette is a Justice of the Peace and holds a diploma in Financial Planning and a University Certificate in Management from Deakin University. Janette has over 18 years experience in the provision of financial advice, is a registered Tax (Financial) Adviser and a member of both the Financial Planners Association and the SMSF Association.

Director of Financial Planners

Chris is a director of KLM Financial Planners Pty Ltd and an Authorised Representative of Personal Financial Services. Chris is a Justice of the Peace and holds a Graduate Diploma & Masters in Financial Planning. Chris has over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector of which over 10 years has been as a Financial Planner. He is a member of the Financial Planners Association and specialises in providing holistic advice plans to his clients to meet their needs & objectives.

Associate

Jean Fuller is an Associate at KLM Accountants with a Bachelor of Business degree. Jean has more than 30 years experience in professional practice, offering taxation, accounting and business advisory services over a broad range of industries, working predominantly with small business. Jean has worked with KLM accountants since 1993 and is an integral member of our staff within our firm.

Associate

Samantha is an Associate with KLM Accountants, a Member of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Sam has over 10 years of professional experience in small business advisory, Self Managed Superannuation Fund advisory, taxation and compliance. Sam boasts an incredibly diverse client base including farming and agriculture, construction, retail and hospitality.
